New house, new visions, new ministry, new job, new business, new travels. AWESOMENESS. I’ve had enough with the turkeys. Eagles are the way to go.

I never want to be lonely
I want so many things in life.
More shoes, more designer bags, more diamonds and just one more trip overseas please.
I wish to be able to upgrade to a bigger house, drive a faster car and eat at fancy places all day. I want my husband to get promoted, earn more and lavish me more.
But you know what?
If I could get that all in exchange for the love and time we have for each other now. Then no way. No thanks. I love my average lifestyle (as the world deems it). To me, my life is in no way average. It is filled with love and it is priceless. Can any man love me this much? I rather be treated like a diamond then be bought diamonds as a last minute gift.
Therefore, above all, I never want to be lonely.

Every other night the husband says variations of the same line. He hates falling asleep alone so I lie there and in the shadowy light I see his sleeping face. Funny how vulnerable he looks when asleep. Staring at how the light hits his face, listening to his breathing, I let out a sigh of thankfulness.
How thankful I am, to have had this day with him.
How thankful I am, that he is healthy and well.
How thankful I am, to have a tomorrow to look forward to with him.

Won’t get a chance to wear this furryhellishlyhot rabbit hat anymore. Saying hello to humidity and traffic jams soon. I guess durians, fresh fruit juice from hawker stalls, roti prata, family, F21, concrete pavements and a new house makes up for that.

my tummy hurts
due to over excitement and nerves that in 7 days, I’ll be off for a eleven week trip. ALONE.
Alone.
I’ve never been alone.
not since birth.
Sure, I’ve been alone for 5 minutes in the toilet, 15 minutes during a shower, even 5 hours on a shopping spree. But I’ve never been alone for a whole day, what more for nearly three months.
I’m not the hi-can-i-be-your-friend type and I don’t think Londoners fancy themselves to be that either.
so even though I’m armed with age and experience, the disability of dependence still clings on to me.
I’m so excited. I’m so scared. I’m so freaking HAPPY!
